Turkey's Ministry of National Defense announced that military museums will be open to the public free of charge on August 30th, Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day.
Turkey's Navy to Pass Through Bosphorus on Victory Day
Turkey's Ministry of National Defense announced that 15 naval ships will transit the Istanbul Bosphorus on August 30th, Victory Day and Turkish Armed Forces Day. Additionally, 30 ships will visit 30 ports for public tours.
İzmir transport 50% off for Victory Day; İZBAN free
İzmir's public transportation services, including ESHOT, İZULAŞ, İZDENİZ, Metro, and Tramway, will offer a 50% discount on August 30th for Victory Day. The İZBAN line will provide free service throughout the day.
Victory Day is an annual Turkish holiday commemorating the end of the War of Independence.
