Turkey warns of high forest fire risk
Turkey's Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, has issued a warning for the Marmara, Aegean, and West Mediterranean regions. High temperatures, low humidity, and strong winds between August 28-30 are expected to increase the risk of forest fires, prompting calls for public vigilance.
The Aegean is a sea region in the eastern Mediterranean, bordered by Greece and Turkey.
