İpsala is a town and district in the Edirne Province of northwestern Turkey.
A waiter in Edirne, Turkey, was fatally stabbed after intervening in a fight between a customer and the restaurant owner. The waiter, Tanju Özçiftçi, was critically injured and later died at the hospital. The customer, identified as C.O., has been detained.
