Reyhanlı bombing trial concludes with 3 defendants receiving 53 life sentences each
A Turkish court has sentenced three defendants to 53 counts of aggravated life imprisonment and thousands of years in prison for their involvement in the May 11, 2013, bombing in Reyhanlı, Hatay, which killed 53 people. The Ankara 9th High Criminal Court delivered the verdict in the trial of 33 individuals connected to the attack. The sentences for fugitive defendants and those whose cases were separated will be handled separately.
