5 People Arrested Over Protests At Gal Gadot Film Set
Gal GadotFive demonstrators have been arrested after allegedly targeting the set of a new film starring Gal Gadot.The Metropolitan Police released a statement on Wednesday evening saying protesters had “disrupted the filming of a movie at locations across London” in recent weeks, doing so because “an actress involved in the production is Israeli”.The Wonder Woman actor is believed to be filming the London-set action thriller The Runner co-starring Damian Lewis.In their statement, a police spokesperson said officers had been deployed to a Westminster filming location to “identify suspects wanted in connection with offences at previous film set protests and to deal with any new offences”.Five people were arrested on suspicion of harassment and offences under Section 241 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act, which deals with “wrongfully and unlawfully obstructing access to a workplace”. Three of those arrests relate to offences that allegedly took place on Wednesday, while two are connected to previous protests. Those arrested currently remain in custody.In recent weeks, protesters have disrupted the filming of a movie at locations across London.
