A$AP Rocky Shares Heartwarming Family Tradition He And Rihanna Will Carry On With Third Child

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna at the Met Gala on Monday nightWhile 2025 Met Gala co-chair A$AP Rocky certainly knows how to command a room with his dapper style, his partner Rihanna is the one who truly stole the show ahead of fashion’s biggest night on Monday. In a Rihanna-coded moment, the Umbrella singer became the trending topic after her photographer, Miles Diggs, posted a photo of the pregnant Fenty Beauty mogul in a cropped outfit before the function. Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers alongside Met Gala head Anna Wintour on Thursday, Rocky shared that he and Rihanna plan to continue a special family tradition they started with their other children, RZA and Riot. “So your first two kids have ‘R’ names. Obviously, you and Rihanna have ‘R’ names,” the host pointed out. “Is this a lock that the third will have an ‘R’ name, do you think?” “For sure,” Rocky responded. The Fashion Killa musician and Rihanna welcomed RZA in 2022 and Riot in 2023.Rocky has gushed about Rihanna’s third pregnancy to the press.“It feels amazing, you know,” he said. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we [are] definitely happy, you know.” An insider close to the couple told People that the close timing between the couple’s pregnancies was planned. “Rihanna has always wanted a big family, so she couldn’t be more excited,” the source said. “Rihanna and Rocky are thrilled to be growing their family, and they can’t wait to give their boys another sibling.“They wanted to have their children close together in age, so that they could grow up together and share a close bond. They feel so blessed and are so grateful for this next chapter in their lives.
