Aimee Lou Wood Reflects On Working With Walton Goggins Amid Rumoured Beef

Aimee Lou WoodAimee Lou Wood has heaped praise on her former White Lotus co-star Walton Goggins, amid rumours that the pair have privately fallen out.On Monday night, the Bafta winner walked the red carpet at the Met Gala with Patrick Schwarzenegger, where their ex-colleague Walton was also in attendance.Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on her way into the event, Aimee was asked how likely it would be that she would join Walton as a surprise cameo when he guest hosts Saturday Night Live later this month.While she made it clear that wasn’t something she’s planning, she did say that she’d be up for it if she were to be asked, enthusing: “Yeah! Why not? It’d be good! I loved working with Walton, it was the best thing ever.”Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood in The White LotusAimee was also asked about the media furore that came about when she called out an SNL sketch parodying The White Lotus, which poked fun at her distinct teeth.“It all got very out of control,” she admitted. “My whole thinking was, I saw that people were angry about it, and I could either say something and just have it be said, and then I won’t spiral inwardly, and feel terrible about myself.“But I thought I’d just say something really simple and balanced, and then the next minute – ‘Aimee Lou Wood crying in the street over SNL skit’. I wasn’t crying over the SNL skit, I was crying about something completely unrelated. It all got quite out of control.”She also pointed out that many media outlets then referenced her own SNL drama when it was announced that Walton was going to be guest hosting, but remarked: “He’s obviously going to be crazy doing SNL, and it’s the perfect thing for him to do, he’s going to be hilarious, I’m so excited to see it.”Fans of both actors have been speculating for the last month about rumoured beef between Walton and Aimee based on the fact that they’re no longer following on Instagram – with the former having seemingly gone as far as blocking the latter on the platform.HuffPost UK contacted Walton Goggins’ team last month but did not receive a response.Aimee also spoke to E!
