Alan Carr Comes Clean About Celebrity Traitors 'Murder' That Affected Him Most
Alan Carr on his first day in the Celebrity Traitors castleAlan Carr has admitted there was one “murder” on The Celebrity Traitors that made him feel worse than all the others.During his time in the castle, Alan was one of the “Traitors” from day one, sneakily picking off his castmates until he was able to seize the entire prize pot for his chosen charity in the finale.Over the course of the series, the comedian was responsible for two “murders” in plain sight – including his real-life friend Paloma Faith – and the face-to-face elimination of fellow comic Lucy Beaumont. However, during an interview on Thursday’s edition of The One Show, Alan claimed that when it came to feeling guilty, there was one exit that really stood out.“The saddest thing was when I murdered Tom Daley,” he recalled. “You go in, in the morning [for breakfast], and he [had been] knitting. And then, he was murdered, and there was just a bag of wool left.”“He had been murdered mid-stitch,” he quipped.During the series, Alan carried out his dastardly deeds pretty gleefully, but fellow “Traitor” Jonathan Ross previously claimed that the show “took its toll” more than the former Chatty Man host let on.“Sometimes, after filming late into the night, Alan and I would be driving home with our heads in our hands thinking, ‘Oh God’,” Jonathan recalled on his podcast Reel Talk. The talk show host admitted: “We could tell it was getting to him. Still, it was such an incredible experience to be part of.”Perhaps that explains his emotional reaction in the show’s final moments...Alan Carr with fellow Traitors Jonathan Ross and Cat BurnsIn the last few weeks, Alan has also opened up about several Celebrity Traitors moments that didn’t make it into the finished show, including some rather brutal taunts towards Lucy Beaumont after her “face-to-face” murder, and a ridiculous incident involving Stephen Fry during one round table deliberation. The Celebrity Traitors will return for a second season in 2026, with a host of famous faces having already been rumoured.READ MORE:Claudia Winkleman And Alan Carr Almost Didn't Appear In The Celebrity TraitorsAlan Carr Comes Clean About Brutal Celebrity Traitors Moment We Didn't SeeNick Mohammed Shares How He Feels About Alan Carr's Celebrity Traitors Win Now
