All's Fair Confirmed For Second Season Despite Scathing Reviews

The cast of All's Fair, Disney+'s divisive new seriesThe star-studded cast of All’s Fair will be dusting off their brightly-coloured power suits for a whole new set of adventures.Yes, it’s true. Despite getting an absolute lashing from critics when it premiered earlier this month (even debuting with a rare 0% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes, which has since risen to a somewhat more respectable 3%), Disney announced on Monday evening that the show would be back for a second season in the not-too-distant future.Ryan Murphy’s divisive series stars Kim Kardashian as a high-powered divorce lawyer who finds herself at the centre of her own legal battle, with the supporting cast including the likes of Emmy winners Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts and Glenn Close, as well as two-time Oscar nominee Naomi Watts, Teyana Taylor and Matthew Noszka.Meanwhile, a clip posted on the show’s official Instagram teased that production on season two would begin in the spring.View this post on InstagramWhile reviews for the show have been largely scathing, that certainly hasn’t deterred people from streaming it in their droves – with many claiming that the numerous zero-star reviews only made them more determined to make it through the Disney+ series.In fact, upon its debut, All’s Fair became the streaming platform’s most-watched original series in three years, based on viewing figures for its first three days.Several members of the cast have also laughed off the reviews, while Fatal Attraction star Glenn has jumped to the defence of Kim K after her acting skills came under particular scrutiny.As well as its impressive main cast, All’s Fair has also featured a wide array of guest stars including everyone from Brooke Shields and Judith Light to Elizabeth Berkley and Jessica Simpson, with Ed O’Neill and O-T Fagbenle playing the love interests of Glenn and Naomi’s characters, respectively..The two-part All’s Fair finale is due to premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday 9 December.READ MORE:Thought The Cast Of All's Fair Looked Familiar?
