Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals Terminator Movie He Thought Was The Worst By Far
Arnold SchwarzeneggerArnold Schwarzenegger didn’t need to be a robot in real life to automatically name the worst Terminator movie. The actor and former California governor, who first played the cyborg assassin in the 1984 original, was asked by a viewer to decide among the franchise’s six entries on Monday’s edition of Watch What Happens Live.He responded: “I would say the worst was probably the number four, because that was done during the time I was governor and I was not in it.“Does that make sense? How do you do Terminator movie without me being in a Terminator movie, right? Doesn’t make any sense.”The film in question would be 2009′s Terminator Salvation, which featured Christian Bale in the lead role. The movie proved to be a relative box office and critical dud, and was responsible for “killing” the future of the franchise, at least according to one outlet.Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen then asked his guest if he used his power of office to complain.“I called immediately,” Schwarzenegger replied. “I said I’m gonna pass a law. Is it forbidden to do movies that suck? ... Yeah, of course. It’s a no-brainer.”Arnie reappeared in the series in 2015’s Terminator Genisys, which outgrossed Salvation by about $432 million to about $356 million, respectively.Terminator: Dark Fate was Schwarzenegger’s last instalment, earning decent reviews but disappointing box office back in 2019.Watch the interview for yourself below:MORE FILM NEWS:James Bond Bosses Announce This Legendary Filmmaker Will Direct The Next Film28 Years Later Director Claims Bosses Were 'Worried' About This Surprising Part Of The Film'I'm P***ed Off': Barbra Streisand Reveals Why She Doesn’t Want To Return To Popular Franchise
