It’s not yet confirmed whether this week’s eviction will still be going ahead.HuffPost UK has contacted ITV for further comment.George’s exit comes just days after fellow housemate Caroline Monk was also given a formal warning by Big Brother producers due to “unacceptable” remarks made towards Zelah Glasson about his gender identity.During a game of spin the bottle, Caroline misgendered Zelah – who had recently disclosed to the rest of the house that he is trans – before making comments about his genitals. In response to her formal warning, Caroline agreed she’d said a “horrible thing”, noting: “I don’t know where it came from. I can’t excuse myself. If I had an excuse I’d say but I don’t have one,” she said. “I’m sorry to everyone out there and I’m sorry to everyone in here. I will make sure I apologise profusely to everyone because I can see the disappointment in everyone’s eyes.”Big Brother continues on Wednesday night at 9pm on ITV2.READ MORE:Big Brother Contestant Caroline Given Formal Warning Over 'Offensive' Comment To Trans Housemate ZelahBig Brother Viewers Heap Praise On Zelah Over 'Insightful' Conversations On Trans IssuesThe New Big Brother Housemates Include This Controversial Right-Wing Commentator
