Cat Deeley And Patrick Kielty Announce Split After 13 Years Of Marriage

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty at the Emmys in 2015Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have announced that they have split up after more than a decade of marriage.The This Morning host and The Late Late Show presenter issued a joint statement on Tuesday afternoon, announcing (as reported by The Independent): “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”Cat and Patrick first met in the early 2000s, when they were paired up to co-host the BBC talent search Fame Academy.They eventually tied the knot in 2012, and have since welcomed two sons, James and Milo, born in 2016 and 2018.Patrick and Cat in 2016Since rising to fame thanks to shows including SM:TV Live and Stars In Their Eyes, Cat made the move Stateside in the mid-2000s, where she hosted the talent show So You Think You Can Dance, earning five Emmy nominations.More recently, she and her family relocated to the UK when she and Ben Shephard were appointed the news hosts of This Morning, taking over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.She was previously married to businessman Mark Whelan between 2001 and 2006.Patrick, meanwhile, is best known for hosting the likes of Stand Up For The Week and the original run of Love Island.In 2023, he took over presenting duties on the talk show The Late Late Show, which airs live on Friday nights on the Irish broadcaster RTÉ.MORE ENTERTAINMENT NEWS:Katy Perry Spotted Out For Dinner With Justin Trudeau And...
