Celebrity Traitor Star Ruth Codd Shares She's Had Second Leg Amputation

Ruth Codd at the premiere of How To Train Your Dragon earlier this yearThe Celebrity Traitors star Ruth Codd has shared that she recently underwent a second leg amputation.When she was a teenager, the Irish actor was seriously injured while playing football, and after years of suffering with chronic pain, she made the decision when she was 23 to have her right leg amputated below the knee.Six years after the procedure, Ruth disclosed on Wednesday that she’d had a second leg amputation in a video posted on her TikTok page.In her post, captioned “no legs who dis?”, Ruth told her followers: “I have some good news and some bad news.“Good news, we’ve had a full-circle moment – I’m back making TikTok content in my parents’ house. Bad news, I can’t do it in front of that lovely blue floral wallpaper anymore due to the fact that room is upstairs. And I’ve just had my second below-knee amputation.
