Chappell Roan Has A Message For Anyone Growing Impatient For Her Next Album

Chappell RoanWhile it’s hardly been a deluge of new material, 2025 has already seen Chappell Roan releasing twice as many new songs as she did the year before.True, that is two songs compared to last year’s one, but we’ll take what we can from the Midwest Princess.However, if you thought the recent release of Chappell’s singles The Giver and The Subway might indicate that there’s a full album on the way, we’re afraid we have some disappointing news.Speaking to Vogue, Chappell made it clear: “The second project doesn’t exist yet. There is no album. There is no collection of songs.”The Grammy winner continued: “It took me five years to write [The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, Chappell’s debut album], and it’s probably going to take at least five to write the next.
