David Tennant Opens Up About Getting His First Tattoo For Wife Georgia
David Tennant at last year's Baftas, which he hostedDavid Tennant has shared a very sweet story about going under the needle for the first time last year.Back in December, it was revealed that the former Doctor Who star had decided to have a “G” inked on his wrist in tribute to his wife, fellow actor Georgia Tennant, to commemorate her 40th birthday.And during his appearance on The Assembly – a unique interview series in which a celebrity guests faces a grilling from a panel of people with either autism, learning difficulties or other neurodivergences – he opened up about his first time going under the needle.“When we’re recording this, it’s about to be my wife’s 40th birthday,” he explained. “A few years ago, she got my name tattooed on her, and she has been banging on at me about getting a tattoo to match.“It’s never been something I’ve wanted to do – I don’t like needles – and I was really [unsure].
