DDR Political Prisoners Eligible for Victim Pension 65 Years After Wall Construction

Around 37,000 individuals imprisoned in East Germany for political reasons are eligible for a victim pension. The SED Victims' Commissioner of the Bundestag highlighted their suffering on the anniversary of the Berlin Wall's construction.
