Owen Cooper plays a troubled teenager in Netflix's new drama AdolescenceAmid all of the fuss surrounding the trailer for Emerald Fennell’s unique take on Wuthering Heights, there’s a familiar face who makes a brief appearance towards the end of the clip that you might have missed.Much has already been made of the fact that the Saltburn director’s adaptation of the much-loved gothic novel will feature Margot Robbie as Catherine and Jacob Elordi as Heathcliffe, but they aren’t the only members of the cast that you’re likely to recognise.In fact, Adolescence’s break-out star Owen Cooper has already been revealed to have landed a part in the film, playing a younger version of Jacob’s character.And late on in the new Wuthering Heights teaser, Owen can be seen for a split second in character as Young Heathcliffe.Owen Cooper as Young Heathcliff in Wuthering HeightsIn the last few days, the Wuthering Heights trailer has split opinion right down the middle due to some of the creative choices its Oscar-winning director has made while adapting Emily Brontë’s work.Check out the trailer for yourself below:Earlier this year, while promoting the hit Netflix drama Adolescence, Owen opened up to Variety about life on the set of Wuthering Heights, sharing: “It’s been going really well. I’ve really enjoyed it.”“Obviously it not [all done in one] shot anymore! So I’m getting used to that,” he added, referring to Adolescence’s signature shooting style. “But it’s been amazing.
