Édouard Philippe Under Investigation for Alleged Misuse of Public Funds in Le Havre
France's Parquet National Financier (PNF) has opened an investigation into former Prime Minister Édouard Philippe, now mayor of Le Havre, following a whistleblower report alleging misuse of public funds, favoritism, illegal conflict of interest, and corruption. The investigation, initiated after a September 2023 report, led to searches in April 2024.
