Ex-James Bond Pierce Brosnan says he 'sympathises' with Helen Mirren's claims that the iconic franchise is built on 'profound sexism'

The actor, 71, played the iconic spy in four films from 1995 to 2002, but despite his affiliation with the franchise, he said there is 'always going to be conflict' over the character.
