French Farmers Union Head Demands Billions in Aid for Drought-Hit Agriculture
The head of France's main farmers' union, FNSEA, is calling for government aid totaling several billion euros to support agricultural operations devastated by drought and heatwaves. Arnaud Rousseau described the situation as an unprecedented catastrophe and fears many farms could go out of business without significant support.
