France: Around 1,000 Excess Deaths Recorded Since Wednesday Amid Heatwave
Santé publique France reported approximately 1,000 more deaths than usual since Wednesday, as an exceptional heatwave ends. The final toll is expected to rise. Two departments remain on red alert.
