France to Decree Motivation for Dismissing Sex Crimes Against Minors Cases
Following the Lyhanna case, French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced a decree will be issued in the coming days requiring motivation for the dismissal of complaints concerning sexual crimes against minors. This follows earlier decisions to increase penalties for serial rape and shorten investigation timelines.
