85-Year-Old German National Dies in US Immigration Custody; Autopsy Ordered

An 85-year-old German national has died while in the custody of US immigration authorities. The man, who reportedly arrived at the US border without valid papers, had been in ICE custody since August 2025 and receiving treatment in a clinic since November. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of death.
