Hammer Blow For Kemi Badenoch As Shock Poll Puts Tories In Fourth Place

Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch is struggling to turn around her party's fortunes.The Tories have slipped to fourth place behind Reform, Labour and the Lib Dems, according to a shock poll.In a hammer blow for Kemi Badenoch, support for the Conservatives has fallen to just 16%.The YouGov survey, carried out in the last two days, puts Reform UK in the lead on 29%, seven points ahead of Labour, who are on 22%.The Lib Dems are on 17%, having leapfrogged the Tories into third place.Support for the Conservatives has fallen by two points since the last YouGov poll, putting them on just 16%. The Greens are fifth on 10%.The findings will pile even more pressure on Badenoch, who has struggled to turn around her party’s fortunes since becoming Tory leader barely six months ago.Over the same period, the Conservatives have been replaced by Reform UK as the main party on the right of British politics.A Reform UK spokesman told HuffPost UK: “We don’t usually comment on a minor party, however, this is the end of the Conservative Party. It is so unserious.“She was even reduced last week to accusing the Indian government of fake news. No wonder she did so badly as trade secretary.“The project for them is over, they’re sliding into oblivion.
