How Clean Is Your House? Star Pays Tribute To 'Tormented Soul' Kim Woodburn

Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie on Paul O'Grady's talk show in 2006How Clean Is Your House? star Aggie MacKenzie has paid her respects to her former co-host Kim Woodburn, following the former Celebrity Big Brother finalist’s death at the age of 83.In a statement provided to Metro, Aggie remembered Kim as a “tormented soul”, having worked with her for six seasons of the hit Channel 4 show.Acknowledging that she and Kim “clashed often” during their working relationship, Aggie said that she hopes her former co-presenter is now “finally at peace”.“Behind the fierce persona was deep pain and incredible strength. She survived because she had to. I hope she’s resting now,” Aggie’s statement continued.“She was an unforgettable woman.”Kim Woodburn on This Morning on 2017Kim’s representatives confirmed on Tuesday morning that she had died the previous day following a “short illness”.How Clean Is Your House? aired on Channel 4 between 2003 and 2009, but its hosts, Kim and Aggie, privately fell out two years before the show came to an end, while they were appearing in a pantomime in Brighton.“We carried on working together for quite a while but the only speaking we did was on camera. It had all come to a bitter end. We’ve never spoken since,” she told The Sun in 2019.After How Clean Is Your House? came to an end, Kim became known for her reality TV appearances, finishing in second place in I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! behind Gino D’Acampo, and third in Celebrity Big Brother behind Coleen Nolan and Jedward.Her other TV work included the reality shows 100% Hotter, Celebrity Come Dine With Me, Famous, Rich And Homeless and Celeb Cooking School.Kim’s spokesperson said on Tuesday: “Kim was an incredibly kind, caring, charismatic and strong person. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.“We are so proud of the amazing things Kim achieved in her life and career. We kindly ask that Kim’s husband and close friends are given the time and privacy they need to grieve.
