HuffPost Is Bringing Workers Fired By Trump To The White House Correspondents' Dinner

On Saturday, HuffPost will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association’s annual dinner in Washington, DC. This year’s event comes amid a sustained government assault on the federal workforce and the press, both without precedent in the United States.Trump seeks to use the power of the state to meddle in CBS News ― and appears to be succeeding. The White House has blocked access to The Associated Press for the crime of calling the Gulf of Mexico “the Gulf of Mexico”.
