Hulk Hogan, Wrestling Legend, Dead At 71 Following 'Cardiac Arrest'

Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, has passed away at the age of 71 according to reports.The family of the former world wrestling champion confirmed the news to Us Weekly.Emergency services were allegedly sent to the WWE brand ambassador’s home in Clearwater, Florida earlier this morning (Thursday 24 July) according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.The site reports that the wrestling star was carried out of his property on a stretcher, before being taken to hospital by ambulance.However, no cause of death has been confirmed by officials. Hogan found major wrestling success after he joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) – what we now know as WWE – in 1979.‘Hulkmania’ took off following his WWF heavyweight title win in 1984 – a triumph which brought widespread mainstream popularity to the sport.During the 2024 presidential campaign, Hogan joked about body-slamming the Democratic nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, and questioned her racial identity. He also proudly told the audience at the RNC that “Trumpamania” should “run wild.”“Let Trumpamania rule again!” he said at that event. “Let Trumpamania make America great again!”This is a developing story.
