Israel's Netanyahu Claims Starmer Is On 'Wrong Side Of Humanity'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has attacked Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron and Mark Carney after they called on him to stop his war in Gaza.Benjamin Netanyahu has launched a scathing attack on Keir Starmer,Emmanuel Macron and Mark Carney, accusing them of being on the “wrong side of humanity”.It comes after a couple, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, who worked as the Israeli embassy in Washington DC were shot dead by a suspect who chanted, “Free Palestine”. The incident followed a strong joint statement issued by the UK, France and Canada calling on Israel to “cease the renewed military offensive” in Gaza and lift its blockade on humanitarian aid.The Israeli allies openly warned Netanyahu that the “intolerable” human suffering must stop or they will “take further concrete actions in response”.UK foreign secretary David Lammy also suspended trade negotiations with Israel on Tuesday.Israel launched a full-scale offensive into Gaza in October 2023 in response to the Hamas attack on Israeli soil where they took 1,200 people killed and 250 others hostage. After 19 months of war in the region, more than 50,000 Palestinians are estimated to have been killed and Gaza is in a humanitarian crisis. Netanyahu’s government claimed this week the war will continue until all parts of Gaza are under Israel’s control. In a video posted on social media last night, Netanyahu linked the statement from Starmer, Macron and Carney to the tragedy in Washington DC.He said: “I say to President Macron, Prime Minister Carney and Prime Minister Starmer: When mass murderers, rapists, baby killers and kidnappers thank you, you’re on the wrong side of justice. “You’re on the wrong side of humanity and you’re on the wrong side of history.”He added: “I especially want to thank President Trump and the American people for their forthright stand with Israel and with the Jewish people. Together we stand.” Netanyahu also compared the Washington shooting to Hamas’ October 7 attack.“For these neo-Nazis, ‘Free Palestine’ is just today’s version of ‘Heil Hitler’,” he said.“Yaron and Sarah weren’t the victims of a random crime. The terrorist who cruelly gunned them down did so for one reason and one reason alone – he wanted to kill Jews. And as he was taken away, he chanted, ‘Free Palestine!’”He continued: “I could never understand how this simple truth evades the leaders of France, Britain, Canada and others. They are now proposing to establish a Palestinian state and reward these murderers with the ultimate prize.”“You won’t be surprised to learn that Hamas thanked President Macron and Prime Ministers Starmer and Carney for demanding that Israel end its war in Gaza immediately,” he claimed.“Hamas was right to thank them.“Because by issuing their demand – replete with a threat of sanctions against Israel, against Israel, not Hamas – these three leaders effectively said they want Hamas to remain in power.”He said the three leaders “effectively said they want Hamas to remain in power” by calling for the war to end.“They want Israel to stand down and accept that Hamas’ army of mass murderers will survive, rebuild and repeat the October 7 massacre.”The suspect involved in the Washington shooting was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder.Related...Netanyahu Rejects Growing Pressure From UK, France And Canada Over GazaReigning Eurovision Winner JJ Calls For Israel To Be Removed From The ContestUK Suspends Trade Negotiations With Israel Over 'Indefensible' Actions In Gaza
