İzmir Municipalities Searched, Mayors Detained in Corruption Probe

An operation was conducted on the CHP-affiliated Balçova and Seferihisar municipalities in İzmir. The mayors of both municipalities were detained as part of an investigation into alleged bribery in zoning and construction processes.
