Jesse Lingard's grandfather dies while awaiting retrial for alleged child sex offenses

Kenneth Lingard, 87, died on June 10 while awaiting a retrial. He had previously stood trial last year accused of sexually abusing a girl from the age of five, but the jury could not reach verdicts on 15 counts.
