Jessie J Shares Early Stage Breast Cancer Diagnosis In Candid Video

Jessie J at the Brit Awards in 2023Jessie J has disclosed that she has been diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer.In a candid Instagram video posted in the early hours of Monday morning, the Price Tag singer revealed that she received her diagnosis shortly before the release of her latest single in April.“Before No Secrets came out, I was diagnosed with early breast cancer,” she told her followers. “I’m highlighting the word ‘early’. Cancer sucks in any form but I’m holding onto the word ‘early’. I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period.”Jessie added that she’d be undergoing surgery after her performance at the Capital Summertime Ball later this month, joking: “It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job.”“I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery and I will come back with massive tits and more music,” she then quipped.View this post on InstagramA post shared by Jessie J (@jessiej)Elsewhere in the video, Jessie shared that she’d been “going back and forth” about whether she wanted to share her diagnosis, but ultimately decided: “I just wanted to be open and share it [because] I do not talk about it enough. I’m not processing it, because I’m working so hard.“I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me, with other people giving me their love and support, and also their own stories. I’m an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so [many] similar [situations] and worse.
