Joe Jonas Shares Surprising Take On Co-Parenting With Ex Sophie Turner

The former couple, whose contentious divorce occasionally played out in the public eye, seemed to be making strides toward a more positive relationship. In a now-viral TikTok video, which showed the musician making an appearance on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose Live Tour in Hollywood, Florida, on Friday, Joe said of his children: “They have an incredible mum. I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I’m really grateful for.“Having an incredible mum, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true. So I think naturally, as young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them.” He added: “I think what values I want for them ― I want them to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want. Now, doing music or acting ― we might want them to wait a little while!” Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner attend the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.After joe shared the sweet admission about his ex-wife, the Game Of Thrones star posted an Instagram story supporting Joe’s new music. “Go go [Joe],” she wrote, with a screenshot of the musician’s new album, Music For People Who Believe In Love.Joe and Sophie were first linked together in 2016, and later tied the knot in two separate celebrations in 2019. They welcomed their first child, Willa, in 2020. The couple’s second child, Delphine, was born in 2022. After reports that the two were experiencing marital struggles, Joe filed for divorce in September 2023. The former Disney star reportedly called the two’s marriage “irretrievably broken” in documents obtained by Today.com, and sources soon told TMZ that “she likes to party, he likes to stay at home”.Things got messy when a child abduction lawsuit was levelled at Joe, though that was later dismissed by a judge.
