Kristin Davis Admits 1 Thing She's 'So Scared' Of Before Every Season Of And Just Like That
Kristin Davis at the premiere of And Just Like That season three last weekAnd Just Like That star Kristin Davis has revealed there’s something she’s always especially nervous about before the start of a new season.Kristin played Charlotte York in all six series of Sex And The City, before returning for the two spin-off films and, more recently, the reboot And Just Like That. The Emmy nominee’s character is now the only one of the original gang still with the same man as she was in the Sex And The City finale, following the death of Mr Big and the break-up of Miranda and her husband, Steve (Samantha – who has appeared only once in And Just Like That – also broke up with her long-term partner in the first movie). As a result, Kristin has admitted to become pretty “protective” of her character’s marriage.Speaking to HuffPost UK ahead of And Just Like That’s return, she admitted: “I do feel a little worried every time we come back for a new season. I’m always like [groans] – I’m so scared [Charlotte]’s going to cheat on [Harry].”Charlotte and Harry, played by Kristin Davis and Evan Handler, in And Just Like That season twoFortunately, it sounds like these fears are probably unfounded, with Kristin pointing out that showrunner and screenwriter Michael Patrick King loves Charlotte and Harry as a couple just “as much as us”.“I do feel that we need that kind of counterpoint to the other characters’ struggles, to have a steady relationship that’s working,” she added.“And obviously, they’re not perfect, they’re never going to be perfect. But I do think it’s really solid, and I think the show needs that, so I take some comfort from that.”Kristin DavisSo far in And Just Like That, viewers have seen Charlotte embarking on a new friendship with fellow mum Lisa Todd Wexley, played by Nicole Ari Parker, as well as parenting her two children Lily and Rock, the latter of whom came out as non-binary in season one.More recently, the character returned to work in the art world, which is explored further in season three. The first episode of And Just Like That season three is streaming on Now and Sky, with new instalments set to follow every Friday.READ MORE:Sarah Jessica Parker Opens Up About Deleted Sex And The City Scene That Could Have Been A Game-Changer For Carrie'I Always Hated That': Cynthia Nixon Says This Part Of Sex And The City Has 'Really Not Aged Well'Kristin Davis Names The 1 Sex And The City Scene She Really Didn't Want To Do
