Lawyer Sentenced to 23 Years and 5 Months for Smuggling Drugs into Prison

Lawyer Ümit Ö. received a 23-year and 5-month prison sentence for attempting to smuggle drugs to his clients in an Istanbul prison. He was convicted of bringing prohibited items into a correctional facility and drug trafficking.
