Louis Tomlinson Claims He'll 'Forever Despise' Logan Paul Over Infamous Liam Payne Interview
Louis TomlinsonLouis Tomlinson has admitted he still holds a grudge against Logan Paul, the social media personality who once orchestrated a now-infamous interview with his late One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.During a new interview with The Independent, Louis reflected on Liam’s death last year, claiming that in the wake of such a tragedy it’s easy to “point the finger” in the search for blame. However, the outlet claimed that in Louis’ view, it was the media furore that surrounded everything the members of One Direction did that contributed to Liam’s demise. When the subject of Liam’s Impaulsive interview was raised, Louis said of the host: “I fucking forever despise him, horrible, horrible little fucker.“I think that’s also the problem with some of this new ‘media’… I would like to think most journalists – some journalists have a duty of care.”During his Logan Paul interview, Liam claimed that while he and Louis had become “best mates” since 1D ended, during their stint in the band, they “hated” one another and had “come to blows”.In another notorious moment, Liam alleged that an undisclosed member of the group had once thrown him “up a wall”, to which he apparently warned: “If you don’t remove those hands there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again.”Liam faced criticism over the interview, which he later claimed had led him to not “leave the house for three months”.“You guys know I’m sorry about all that stuff,” he said. “I love my boys. Not sure what was going on with me other than I had a problem with me and I took it out on everyone else… never had a bigger chip on my shoulder and I’m really glad to lose it.”He later claimed that the interview had been a “life-changing” moment for him, in that it led to him entering rehab treatment for 100 days.Liam died in October 2024 at the age of 31.The Strip That Down singer’s cause of death was later revealed to be a polytrauma following a fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina, before which he had taken a cocktail of drugs including benzodiazepine, crack cocaine and a mixture of substances known as “pink cocaine”.READ MORE:Liam Payne's Family Describes 'Lasting Damage' From Media In New StatementOne Direction’s Louis Tomlinson Makes Heartbreaking Pledge To Liam Payne’s SonLiam Payne’s Sister Shares Heartbreaking Reaction To Seeing His Final TV Appearance
