Macron visits Gironde as massive wildfire stabilized but not yet contained

French President Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Gironde to meet with emergency services and officials dealing with a massive wildfire. The blaze, which has burned 42,000 hectares, is stabilized but not yet fully contained.
