Michelin to Close US Plant Employing 1,200 Workers, Citing Structural Under-capacity

Michelin will progressively close its BFGoodrich plant in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, by the end of 2028. The site, employing 1,200 people, faces structural under-capacity deemed unsustainable. The company is provisioning a charge of 220 million euros for the closure.
