Miley Cyrus Names 1 Reason She's Concerned For Sabrina Carpenter
Miley CyrusMiley Cyrus has admitted that Sabrina Carpenter’s jam-packed schedule has given her cause for concern.During a recent interview with the New York Times, Miley said that when she sees the Espresso singer, a fellow Disney alum, she has “the urge to ask her if she’s OK”.“I’ll see that she’s performing in Ireland, and then the next day she’s doing a show in Kansas,” the Flowers singer explained.“And I’m like, ‘I don’t know how that could be physically OK’, because I was in that situation. I know what it feels like to fry yourself, and I don’t want anyone else to get fried.” Sabrina kicked off her biggest headlining tour to date last year, off the back of her hugely successful Short N’ Sweet album.Sabrina CarpenterIn the months since, Sabrina’s taken her show all over the US, as well as Europe, while also delivering show-stopping performances at the Grammys and Brit Awards and filming her one-off Netflix Christmas special. The Grammy winner is due to return to the UK next month with two headlining shows at London’s Hyde Park, before jetting back across the pond in the autumn for the final North American leg of her Short N’ Sweet tour. Before that, though, there’s also her next album Man’s Best Friend, which is due for release in August.Miley’s 2013 Bangerz world tour generated no end of headlines at the time, and in the 12 years since, she has only toured twice – once being an eight-date North American jaunt in support of her Miley Cyrus And Her Dead Petz project, and the other being a 10-night tour of North and South America in 2021 and 2022, to promote her Plastic Hearts album. She said in 2023: “What people don’t really understand about touring [is that] the show is only 90 minutes, but that’s your life. If you’re performing at a certain level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest.“There’s a level of ego that gets overused when I’m on tour and once that switches on, it’s hard to turn it off. And I think when you’re training your ego every single night to be active, that’s the hardest switch for me to turn off.”Miley added that this “isn’t healthy for me”, noting: “It erases my humanity and my connection. And without my humanity and my connection, I can’t be a songwriter, which is my priority.”READ MORE:Thank You To Sabrina Carpenter For Reminding Everyone That Pop Is Supposed To Be ProvocativeSabrina Carpenter Has Epic 4-Word Response About Who Inspired Her Single ManchildSabrina Carpenter Has 6 Blunt Words For What She Thinks Of Drivers License Drama Now
