Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour at the world premiere of Stranger Things' fifth and final seasonMillie Bobby Brown has insisted that she and her Stranger Things co-star David Harbour have a “great” working relationship.Earlier this month, the Daily Mail published a report alleging that in the gap between seasons four and five of Stranger Things, the British actor filed a claim with seniors at the Netflix show accusing her fellow actor of harassment and bullying. The Mail’s piece included only a few details on the matter, but said that there were “pages of pages” of allegations, none of which were sexual in nature. However, speaking to Deadline in the lead-up to season five, Millie spoke about her “great relationship” with David, whose character has become a father figure to her own on-screen alter-ego Eleven as the series has progressed.Millie said: “We work really closely together in the scenes and in preparing for the scenes. I really am excited for everyone to see the labour of love and hard work we’ve put into the closure of our relationship and what that looks like and to give some of the fans. Especially the Hopper and Eleven fans.“Those scenes that I feel, I think, are going to be quite impactful. I love it. It makes me want to bring my A game every single time I see that I’m on the call sheet working with him because I know he’s bringing it right back.”David Harbour Millie Bobby Brown on the set of Stranger Things season fiveAt the time of the Mail’s initial report, HuffPost UK contacted representatives for Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour, but did not receive a response. However, shortly afterwards, they both attended a premiere event for Stranger Things season five, where they were seen laughing together on the red carpet.Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite on the #StrangerThings5 carpet pic.twitter.com/IFClutOctM— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) November 7, 2025Co-creator Ross Duffer claimed: “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal on-set matters. But I will say, we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them.”Executive producer Shawn Levy also said: “At the end of the day, that’s the job. You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe, and so we did everything to build that environment. And we’re proud of the fact that we did so.“I’ve read a bunch of stories and they range from wildly inaccurate to… there’s so much noise around it. But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that’s always been bedrock.”Volume one of Stranger Things’ final season is streaming now, with more episodes to follow next month.MORE STRANGER THINGS:Stranger Things Bosses Address Rumours Millie Bobby Brown Filed A Complaint About David HarbourStranger Things Bosses Tease Show's 'Most Violent Death' Ever In Season 5Stranger Things Bosses Tease 'Plan B' Song For Iconic Running Up That Hill Scene
