Nick Mohammed Shares The Dramatic Part Of Alan Carr's Traitors Win That We Didn't See
Nick Mohammed in the Celebrity Traitors finalIf there’s one thing that has to be said about the first season of The Celebrity Traitors, it’s that the gripping action continued right up until its final moments.Last week’s finale had the entire nation on the edge of its collective seat as Alan Carr, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga made their way to the firepit to cast their last votes on the show.Despite everyone having their suspicions about Alan – who we already knew had been a “Traitor” the entire game – David and Nick went back on their plans at the eleventh hour, banishing Joe from the group instead. What they didn’t know was that this was effectively handing the game to the former Chatty Man host, who snagged the entire hefty prize pot for himself.Alan Carr revealing his true identity to his fellow Celebrity Traitors finalistsThe drama didn’t end there, though, as the revelation about Alan being a “Traitor” led to several brilliant moments, not least the former Ted Lasso star’s simple delivery of a stunned F-bomb.However, it turns out there was a lot more to this moment that viewers didn’t get to see.Speaking to The Times, Nick admitted: “There was a lot more they edited out. I was effing and blinding, I was so shocked. And then I just lost control of my legs. I was on the floor.”What no one could have prepared for would be that Alan would then break down in tears, confessing to Nick and David that the guilt of the game had been “tearing me apart”.The pair quickly rushed to his side, assuring him he’d played the game brilliantly and reminding him that his prize fund would all be going to a good cause.“When Alan burst into tears I couldn’t bear it,” Nick recalled. “But I also thought, ‘oh my God, this is going to be great television’.”View this post on Instagram“No one wanted to see David and me win together,” he added. “That would be so boring.”Elsewhere in his interview with The Times, the Emmy nominee shared his real feelings about Alan’s victory, echoing comments that had previously been made by castmate Joe Marler.A second season of The Celebrity Traitors is now confirmed to be in the pipeline, with rumours about which stars could be on the line-up already starting to do the rounds.MORE TRAITORS:All The Stars Who've Been Rumoured For The Celebrity Traitors Season 2 So FarNick Mohammed Shares How He Feels About Alan Carr's Celebrity Traitors Win NowJoe Marler Clears Up Rumours About How Much The Celebrity Traitors Cast Got Paid
