Nigel Farage Accused Of Talking 'Bullshit' By Albanian Prime Minister

Britain's Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage reacts during the Reform party's annual conference at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England, Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025.(AP Photo/Thomas Krych)The prime minister of Albania has accused Nigel Farage of talking “bullshit” about his country.Edi Rama rejected the Reform UK leader’s claims about the number of immigrants from his country being in British jails.Farage has claimed that “one in 50 Albanians in Britain are in prison”.But on Times Radio this morning, Rama said: “There is a lot of bullshit in all this because there is not a high number of Albanian prisoners in the UK that somehow distinguish[es] itself from the overall number of UK prisoners and from other nationalities of prisoners.“So it’s a little piece of the big mosaic of lies and of self-delusional arguments that were used to convince the British people to leave the European Union.”Rama also said the UK would struggle to find workers to carry out vital jobs if it wasn’t for the number of Albanians who move to Britain.He said: “Where the hell will you find the people to build your houses, to serve you the coffee, to be your taxi drivers, to be your truck drivers and so on?”The Albanian PM also repeated his invitation for Farage to visit Albania for himself.He said: “He has said that he will come to visit and I’ll be very happy to see him.
