Britain's Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage holds a shirt signed by him during the Reform party's annual conference.Nigel Farage has performed yet another U-turn by insisting a Reform UK government would be prepared to deport women back to Afghanistan. He had previously insisted that would not happen for at least the first five years of him being prime minister. The Reform leader performed the climbdown as he was interviewed by Sky News at his party’s conference in Birmingham. He was asked by Beth Rigby: “Will you send women and children back to Afghanistan and the Taliban?”Farage said: “I’ve made it very, very clear that our first priority, our first priority with those living in Britain illegally is to deport men. It is men that are clearly the more perceived danger.”Rigby asked him again: “Will you detain the women and children? Will you send them back?”The Reform boss said: “Yes. Women that arrive, women that arrive by boat will be deported.”Asked if that meant to Afghanistan, Farage replied: “Yes if necessary.”He added: “I am more concerned about the rights of British people than I am about those who come here illegally.”BREAKING: Nigel Farage has confirmed he wants to deport women asylum seekers back to the Taliban in Afghanistan if he becomes prime minister.https://t.co/qMwKTS0rsy📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube pic.twitter.com/wbOWT6LsWi— Sky News (@SkyNews) September 6, 2025In the same interview, Farage also U-turned on a pledge he made on quickly ending Channel crossings by asylum seekers in his speech to the Reform conference just 24 hours ago.He told party activists: “We will stop the boats within two weeks of winning the government.”After initially denying that he had even said it, Farage told Beth Rigby: “Within two weeks *of passing the legislation* we will stop the boats.”Even with a Commons majority, it would take months for any such legislation to get through both houses of parliament.Watch the exchange below: BREAKING: Nigel Farage said he would stop small boats two weeks after legislation if he became Prime Minister https://t.co/qMwKTS0rsy📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube pic.twitter.com/CFqeyBvth2— Sky News (@SkyNews) September 6, 2025Related...Farage Branded 'Putin-Loving Trump Wannabe' By US Politician In Brutal SlapdownReform HQ Is Re-Branded 'Trump Tower' After Farage's White House Love-In'What's Changed?': Farage's Past Views On Dorries Leave Reform Chief Floundering
