(AP Photo/Kin Cheung)Nigel Farage has said a Reform UK government will carry out the “mass deportation” of illegal immigrants – despite previously saying it was “impossible”.He will unveil his party’s full plan to tackle rising immigration at a press conference on Tuesday. In an interview with The Times, he said a Reform government would introduce the Illegal Migration (Mass Deportation) Bill.Under the plans, asylum seekers would be arrested when they reached the UK and detained on former RAF bases before either being returned to their own countries.Farage said a Reform government would also consider using “third countries” like Rwanda and Albania to house asylum seekers.“The aim of this legislation is mass deportations,” he said. “We have a massive crisis in Britain. It is not only posing a national security threat but it’s leading to public anger that frankly is not very far away from disorder.“There is only one way to stop people coming into Britain and that is to detain them and deport them.”But asked by GB news last year if he supported the deportation of illegal immigrants, Farage said: “It’s impossible to do. Literally impossible to do. “For us, at the moment, it’s a political impossibility.”Asked if it was his “ambition” to do so, he replied: “No ... it’s pointless even going there. It’s a political impossibility. We simply can’t do it.”Shadow home secretary Chris Philp said: “Nigel Farage previously claimed mass deportation were impossible, and now he says it’s his policy. Who knows what he’ll say next.”Related...'A Bull***t Artist': Kemi Badenoch In Fresh Foul-Mouthed Blast At Nigel FarageExclusive: Keir Starmer To Launch Autumn Fightback Against Farage's Claim 'Britain Is Broken'Nigel Farage Accused Of Supporting Andrew Tate In New Labour Attack Ad
