US and Iran Near Agreement: 60-Day Truce, Hormuz Reopens, Sanctions Relief
The United States and Iran are reportedly close to finalizing a deal involving a 60-day truce, during which the Strait of Hormuz would reopen and Iran could sell oil. As part of the agreement, Iran would halt uranium enrichment, and in return, approximately $25 billion in frozen Iranian assets would be released.
