EU Parliament Strips Alvise Pérez of Immunity Amidst Illegal Funding Probe

The European Parliament has voted to lift the parliamentary immunity of Spanish MEP Alvise Pérez, leader of the 'Se Acabó la Fiesta' party, to allow an investigation into alleged illegal financing. This is the second time his immunity has been removed, with the Supreme Court also seeking to investigate him for alleged harassment.
