Scooter Braun Opens Up About Where Things Stand Between Him And Justin Bieber Now

Scooter BraunRetired music manager Scooter Braun is lifting the lid on his relationship with former client Justin Bieber.Scooter is widely credited with helping the Beauty And A Beat singer on his way to global stardom, and was a key figure in Justin’s life until recently, when it was reported they had parted ways professionally.During a recent interview with Stephen Bartlett on the Diary Of A CEO podcast, the industry insider admitted that things between himself and the Grammy winner are now “not the same” as they had been.“There comes a point where I understand he probably wants to go on and show that he can do it,” Scooter claimed.“We worked together for so long and we had such extreme success. And I think you get to a point as a man where you want to show the world you can do it on your own. And I completely respect that.”Justin Bieber at the 2022 GrammysHe added: “I think at this point, that’s what he’s doing. Myself and everyone from the old team is rooting for him.”Back in 2023, there were media reports of a mass exodus of Scooter’s clients from his management company, including Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.Around a year later, Scooter confirmed he was retiring from managing acts.Scooter Braun and Justin Bieber in 2013For the past few months, Justin has repeatedly shut down stories about him in the press, with a spokesperson describing how it had been a “very transformative” year for him, after he “ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him”.His rep later claimed that “sources” who were “disappointed that they no longer work with Justin” had been speaking negatively about him in the media.“As Justin forges his own way forward, these unnecessary stories and inaccurate assumptions will continue.
