Student Amnesty Law Takes Effect in Turkey, Allowing Re-enrollment and Imposing Penalties

A new law, published in the Official Gazette, has taken effect in Turkey, offering an amnesty for students who left or could not enroll in universities. Those eligible can re-enroll for the 2026-2027 academic year. The law also introduces penalties for academic misconduct and revises sanctions for foundation universities.
