The Celebrity Traitors Line-Up: Here's A Guide To Who's Who On The Cast
The cast of The Celebrity Traitors pictured with host Claudia WinklemanThe moment reality TV fans have been waiting months for is finally arrived. Yes, the Traitors castle is opening its doors to a very different cast of characters for the British franchise’s first ever celebrity series.Celebrity Traitors undoubtedly boasts one of the most impressively star-studded casts ever assembled for a reality show, including a host of recognisable faces from the UK’s music, sport, TV and comedy scenes.Besides its A-list cast, though, the celebrity version of the Bafta-winning show plays out almost exactly the same as the regular series, with 19 contestants trying to weed out the “traitors” in their mix before being “murdered” themselves, with the hopes of splitting a hefty cash prize (this time around, though, they’re all competing for a charity of their own choosing).Excited? Us too. Here’s the full cast…Alan Carr (comedian)Cat Burns (singer-songwriter)Celia Imrie (actor)Charlotte Church (singer-songwriter)Clare Balding (sports broadcaster)David Olusoga (historian)Joe Marler (former rugby pro)Joe Wilkinson (comedian)Jonathan Ross (presenter)Kate Garraway (presenter)Lucy Beaumont (comedian)Mark Bonnar (actor)Nick Mohammed (actor and comedian)Niko Omilana (influencer)Paloma Faith (singer-songwriter)Ruth Codd (actor)Stephen Fry (actor and presenter)Tameka Empson (actor)Tom Daley (retired Olympic diver)Early critiques of the Celebrity Traitors have been reassuringly effusive, with The Telegraph’s four-star review claiming: “The show is so well-made and well-edited that it is guaranteed to entertain. The launch episode really gets going at the end, when the Traitors are given their first mission and panic about how to pull it off.“Can’t wait for episode two. I’m already hooked.”A similarly-enthusiastic assessment in The Sun claims: “The inaugural star-studded run of the BBC series [is] a TV offering of epic proportions.“I have watched the first episode and details are steeped in secrecy. But I am dancing close to treachery to bring you this warning: cancel your plans for the foreseeable future.“As a Traitors superfan I can tell you that the 70-minute long opener is exceptional.”The Celebrity Traitors debuts on Wednesday night at 9pm on BBC One.MORE REALITY TV:Big Brother's George Booted From The House Over 'Unacceptable Language And Behaviour'This Year's Most Controversial Strictly Star Has Become The First Celebrity To Be EliminatedHere Are The I'm A Celebrity Contestants Tipped To Be Returning For The Next All Stars Series
