Paloma Faith discovers the identities of The Celebrity TraitorsThis article contains major spoilers for the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors.Paloma Faith has shared her thoughts on becoming the first star to be “murdered” on The Celebrity Traitors.In Thursday night’s episode, the group learned that the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer had been “killed off” by the Traitors in plain sight.And during a subsequent appearance on spin-off show The Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked, Paloma discovered it was her good friend Alan Carr who had “murdered” her, by stroking her face as part of a twist.Alan Carr seals Paloma Faith's fate on The Celebrity TraitorsDuring the latest instalment of Uncloaked, viewers saw a pre-recorded interview with Paloma from shortly after her exit, in which she learned the identity of The Traitors for the first time.“What a prick. I’m happy to lose him as a friend,” she joked upon learning that Jonathan Ross was the first name on the list.Insisting she had “no suspicions”, she added: “He’s obviously really, really studied. He’s really good at it. I had no suspicions at all.”The Brit Award winner was similarly stunned to learn that Cat Burns was also a Traitor, and when Alan’s name was the third to be revealed, she playfully (we think!) remarked: “These are like three of my favourite people that I was sure [were Faithfuls]. I hope they never call me again! And I mean that. [That’s] bang out of order.“I feel really even more betrayed now. By Jonathan and Alan [with whom Paloma was already friends before the show began] – and, actually, Cat because she’s on the same record label as me, and she should have some loyalty.”View this post on InstagramA post shared by Celebrity Traitors (@ukthetraitors)Paloma then took part in a follow-up interview filmed after the discovery that Alan was actually the one responsible for killing her.“I still maintain to this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that,” she said. “So, I don’t think he should have done that to me, and I’m surprised that he did.“But he is extremely lovable and I’ve spoken to him since, and I do find forgiveness quite an easy thing, just as a person, so I love him.”Paloma Faith and Alan Carr were friends for many years before taking part in The Celebrity TraitorsHost Ed Gamble then began to defend Alan, suggesting that killing her in those circumstances was the easiest option for him because their existing bond made it less unusual for him to touch her face.Paloma maintained: “If the show was on the other foot, I would not have touched Alan’s face. Categorically, he had a choice. It was a choice. And maybe it was the easiest option, but it was the choice he made. And I think it was not very nice.”And while she insisted she had no suspicions of her friend, she did claim: “I did keep asking him why he was sweating so much.
