The cast of The White Lotus season threeWith the fourth season of The White Lotus still a long way off, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the show’s dedicated Reddit page might have gone a little quiet in the last few months.Apparently not, though, as fans of the award-winning series have already begun speculating about which stars could be appearing in the next run of episodes.Over the last three seasons, The White Lotus has become synonymous with its sprawling ensemble casts, which usually consist of entirely new actors, although there have been a number of surprise returns over the years, too.And many fans have already begun to suspect that there could be one or two famous faces from the latest season reprising their characters in the much-hyped fourth series, which is due to be set in France.Last week, White Lotus fan u/ByShida suggested on Reddit that it was “obvious” that Parker Posey would be back as Victoria Ratliff in the next season of The White Lotus.Parker has become one of the break-out stars of the series, landing an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Victoria and providing The White Lotus with some of its most viral moments ever.In their post, u/ByShida points out that it was Parker who confirmed the next season of The White Lotus would be set in France, while revealing that she knew creator Mike White is there, scouting locations, at the moment.Talking to E! News, she also teased cryptically: “I have no idea if I’m in [the new season].”Parker Posey as Victoria Ratliff in The White Lotus“I can see Victoria by herself or with a newer richer husband,” one fan agreed.Another replied: “Or by herself looking for a newer richer husband!”“I’m assuming Parker Posey will be in it with another guy,” a different comment read. “Or Jason Isaacs got out of it. Or they fled together with stashed away money. But they know we need more Parker Posey. It’s kinda a requirement at the moment.”A fourth reply to the original post read: “It seems so natural to have Parker in season four. There are loads of possibilities to explore Victoria’s plot. As someone who’s watched Parker Posey’s almost entire filmography, I think Victoria is so her character, she’s perfect. Can’t imagine anybody else in her place.”They added: “As much as I love Jason Isaacs, it would make more sense for Victoria to return without Tim in this season.”And while the original Reddit thread named Jason Isaacs as another potential returnee (after he, too, confirmed that the next series would be set in the south of France), the man himself seems less convinced.“Remember, they’re broke!” he told Entertainment Tonight at the Emmys earlier this month. “I don’t think [broke people] go and stay at a White Lotus.“I don’t think [the Ratliffs are] coming back.
